The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) proudly announces its upcoming Central India B2B Roadshow
Series, scheduled from 27th to 31st January 2026 across five major cities: Indore, Nagpur,
Aurangabad, Nashik, and Pune. This strategic initiative is designed to strengthen tourism
partnerships, expand market reach into Central India, and showcase Karnataka’s diverse
offerings—from heritage and culture to eco-tourism, wellness, and adventure—to the Central Indian
travel trade community, creating meaningful business connections.

The roadshow kicks off in Indore on 27th January, followed by Nagpur on 28th January, Aurangabad
on 29th January, Nashik on 30th January, and wraps up in Pune on 31st January. Each event
promises interactive B2B sessions, destination presentations, and prime networking opportunities
tailored for travel agents, tour operators, and hospitality stakeholders. The series is organized with
valued support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Department of Tourism,
Government of Karnataka, Mysore Sales International Ltd. (MSIL), Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd. (JLR),
Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), along with leading hotel chains, resorts,
tour operators, and destination management companies. These partners collectively provide a
dynamic platform to explore and engage with Karnataka’s expansive tourism potential.
Mr K. Syama Raju, President, Karnataka Tourism Society, quoted: “This Central India Roadshow
Series is a landmark initiative for Karnataka Tourism Society. By engaging directly with the travel
trade in Indore, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Pune, we are building bridges of collaboration and
showcasing Karnataka’s unmatched diversity. With the support of our partners and leading
hospitality brands, we are confident of creating new pathways for sustainable tourism growth.”

Mr Mohamed Farouk, Regional Director, India Tourism – West & Central, said: “India Tourism-
Mumbai is proud to support KTS in this endeavour. The Central India B2B Roadshow embodies the
spirit of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ by encouraging domestic travel and highlighting Karnataka’s rich
heritage, natural beauty, and adventure experiences. With strong partnerships across government
and private stakeholders, such initiatives strengthen regional connectivity and contribute to
positioning India as a year-round destination for global travellers.”
The announcement follows the success of recent Destination Promotion B2B Roadshows held across
four Southern cities—Coimbatore (25th Nov), Cochin (26th Nov), Madurai (27th Nov), and Salem
(28th Nov). These events witnessed active participation from 42 stakeholders and drew an
overwhelming response from over 500 buyers, supported by India Tourism – Southern Region,
Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, KSTDC, Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd., and South
India Hotels and Restaurants Association.
KTS is preparing additional programs, including the Explore Bidar & Kalburgi Destination Orientation
Programme, Discover Bidar FAM Tour, Guide Training Programme at Bidar under Capacity Building
Activity, and Discover Chikmagalur Standalone B2B Event to highlight coffee country and eco-
tourism circuits, ensuring sustained tourism growth.
