In a clear sign of sustained operational normalization, India’s leading airline, IndiGo, has announced it will operate over 2,000 flights today, marking a significant milestone under its revised, scaled-down schedule.

This performance reflects a steady recovery trajectory maintained over the past four days, as the airline continues to enhance network stability and minimize disruptions.

“All our 138 operational destinations are currently connected,” said a company spokesperson, emphasizing that on-time performance remains in line with IndiGo’s high internal standards.

On December 11, the airline operated over 1,950 flights, with only four cancellations, all attributed to adverse weather conditions. IndiGo staff reportedly informed affected passengers promptly to ensure minimal inconvenience.

IndiGo’s recent performance demonstrates both operational resilience and strategic agility as it navigates the winter travel season. The airline continues to adjust its network dynamically while focusing on service continuity, safety, and passenger communication.
