The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is set to organise festivals in Shamli and Jaunpur. The Shamli Mahotsav will commence on March 7 and continue until March 10, while the Jaunpur Mahotsav will take place from March 10 to March 12. These festivals will showcase a blend of art and culture and unique tourist attractions. Uttar Pradesh’s Tourism and Culture Minister, Jaiveer Singh, shared this information.

The Shamli Mahotsav will take place at the V.V. P.G. College from March 7 to March 10. Visitors will enjoy delicious cuisine, games, entertainment, and cultural performances. A wide range of handicraft products will also be on display. Special attractions at the Shamli Mahotsav will include programs by students from various schools, a laser show, and a poetry symposium.

The Tourism and Culture Minister, Jaiveer Singh, informed us that the Jaunpur Festival will be organised at the historic Shahi Fort, and the preparations are in their final stages. The festival will feature cultural programs, poetry symposiums, mass weddings, and exclusive attractions for tourists. He emphasised that Uttar Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a leading state in the tourism sector. The state continues to captivate visitors with religious, spiritual, and natural tourism offerings, along with its culture, handicrafts, and cuisine; the government aims to promote these cultural heritages and ensure that tourists from across the country and the world can experience their charm.
