Secret Ingredient, a leading food and hospitality consultancy, joins hands with Arushi Mehra and Miguel Villaquiran to bring Libertario Coffee India to life. The brand has just opened its first café on 22nd July, 2025, in Greater Kailash 2, New Delhi, with Secret Ingredient supporting every step of the journey, from concept to execution.

From launch strategy to operational execution, Libertario has brought its bold Colombian soul to life in India, crafting a coffee-forward experience that evolves into a rich lifestyle offering. With strategic support from Secret Ingredient, the brand was thoughtfully adapted to resonate with Indian sensibilities, without compromising its core identity. India now brews signature blends like Paz (caramel-chocolate), Libre (fruit-forward), and Rock/Specials, which feature exotic varietals such as Geisha and Bourbon Sidra. The collaboration covered everything from market research and spatial design to kitchen planning and team training, ensuring Libertario’s debut felt both global and grounded.

What truly sets this launch apart is the distinctive food program crafted by Secret Ingredient, one that complements the complexity of Libertario’s premium Colombian beans with thoughtful, high-end culinary pairings tailored for the Indian palate. Even the cutlery, crockery, and visual aesthetics have been custom-designed to reflect the brand’s refined ethos. Their scope also extended to hiring and onboarding café staff, conducting training sessions, and running trials to ensure consistency and perfection in every cup and plate served.

On the occasion, Sid Mathur, Founder and Director, Secret Ingredient, said, “Bringing Libertario to India has been an advantageous process, backed by months of research, cultural calibration, and countless rounds of testing to ensure we retained the soul of the brand while making it relevant to the Indian audience. It’s exciting to see a coffee philosophy this strong find a home here, and to have played a part in shaping not just the menu, but the entire experience

Arushi Mehra, Founder, Libertario Coffee India, expressed her excitement, saying, “Libertario is more than just a café, it’s a piece of our story. With my husband’s Colombian roots and our shared love for coffee, bringing this brand to India feels incredibly personal. This space is a culmination of our passion for culture, community, and craft, and I’m so excited to share that journey with Delhi
