To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the Conrad Pune is reiterating its position as a world-class culinary destination in the city by curating a dining experience that centers on Korean cuisine.
The Spirit of Seoul, featuring Chef U Geon Jin of Conrad Seoul, will be held at the hotel’s pan-Asian restaurant, k-o-j-i, from March 20th through the 29th. Traditional Korean tastes and techniques are the focal point of the short-lived exhibition, which changes the dining scene in Pune. Soups such Doenjang Guk and Kimchi Jjigae are available to start, with a variety of appetisers, salads, and main meals like Bibimbap, Jjigae stews, and Korean noodles following. Hotteok, a classic Korean dessert, takes place at the end of the encounter.
“It is a unique experience for me to bring the warm and flavours of Korean cuisine to Pune,” Chef U Geon Jin stated. Korean cuisine is centred around balance, tradition, and the joy of sharing food with others. Here, tourists can experience the essence of Korean cooking. Not only do I want people to savour the flavours, but I also want them to remember the hospitality and friendliness that are hallmarks of our culinary heritage.
General Manager Abhishek Sahai of the Conrad Pune said, “It seemed natural to mark the occasion through the language we know best – exceptional dining experience” in honour of the hotel’s tenth anniversary. Guests have had the chance to explore various cuisines and cultures at our restaurants, which have brought worldwide culinary traditions to the city over the past decade. Bringing Chef U Geon Jin’s skills from Conrad Seoul to Pune, The Spirit of Seoul is a fantastic continuation of that concept, resulting in an experience that is both unique and unforgettable.
