The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was formally inducted today as the designated aviation security agency at the upcoming Noida International Airport (NIA). The induction marks a significant milestone in the airport’s journey towards operational readiness ahead of its commercial launch.

CISF Assumes Aviation Security Mandate
In the initial phase, a Chief Aerodrome Security Officer (CASO) will lead the deployment of 1,047 CISF personnel. The management will scale up deployment strength in accordance with operational needs as passenger traffic and flight operations increase.
