Over the next four to five years, Omaxe Ltd. intends to construct nineteen hotels in five different states as part of its newly announced hospitality business segment. The expansion of the company’s footprint in India’s hospitality sector is contingent upon project-specific approvals, regulatory clearances, and market circumstances, and it is projected to invest around INR 6,200 crore.
The proposed portfolio will cover around five million square feet spread across thirteen cities. It will include mixed-use projects, commercial ventures, hospitality developments that blend into Omaxe’s current townships, and urban infrastructure assets.
Twelve of the nineteen hotels listed are situated in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. These include establishments in Ayodhya, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Kaushambi, and Vrindavan. New Delhi, Faridabad, Ujjain, Chandigarh, Amritsar, and Ludhiana are the destinations for the remaining hotels scheduled to open.
The 158-room Gateway Hotel by IHCL, located at Dwarka, New Delhi’s The Omaxe State, is one of the project’s crown jewels. The Delhi Development Authority and private companies are working together as a PPP to build the project. As part of its public-private partnership, the firm intends to create hospitality projects that are transit-oriented in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation.
