The announcement of the signing of The Hoxton, Bengaluru City, marking the introduction of the lifestyle brand into the Indian market, was made by Accor India and InterGlobe Hotels in conjunction with Ennismore.

The 149-room hotel, situated on Bengaluru’s Richmond Road, is set to open in November 2026. The companies’ goal in signing this deal is to increase their footprint in the rapidly expanding lifestyle hospitality market in India.

Guests and locals alike will be able to enjoy the property’s many dining options, event spaces, and brand-led community areas. The hotel’s rooftop Italian spot Fi’lia will also be returning to India for a second stint.

In a recent statement, Gaurav Bhushan—Group CEO of Ennismore and Chairman of Accor India—stated that India is currently among the world’s most fascinating hospitality markets. Building brands that connect with Indian guests first while preserving the same global DNA our companies are recognised for is our simple approach, and the market is ready for a genuine lifestyle experience. Roswyn Mumbai, a Morgans Originals hotel, and the highly anticipated debut of Ennismore—which includes Mama Shelter and Delano—in India this year all reasons to celebrate. It has always been our dream to open a Hoxton in India, and after researching the city’s rich cultural heritage, we’ve decided that Bengaluru is the perfect place to start.

The Hoxton’s arrival in India is a watershed event in our quest to provide the nation with world-class, lifestyle-led hospitality, according to Aditya Pande, Group Chief Executive Officer of InterGlobe Enterprises. The brand would thrive in Bengaluru, thanks to the city’s innovative spirit and international perspective. In order to satisfy the changing demands of the Indian market, where visitors are looking for more genuine, design-forward experiences, our long-standing collaboration with Accor and Ennismore is being further solidified with this signing. We have faith that The Hoxton, Bengaluru will leave an indelible impression on visitors and residents alike, becoming the country’s premier urban hotel.

The announcement comes after Accor and InterGlobe announced their strategic agreement to develop a 300-hotel network in India by 2030 under the Accor and Ennismore brands.
