In order to encourage mutual growth, improve industry representation, and cultivate collaboration, the Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI, the Indore Hoteliers Association (IHA), and the Lonavala Khandala Hotel and Restaurant Association (LKHRA) have all signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU). In order to address the concerns of the hospitality sector, a formal framework has been established under the agreement, with HRAWI serving as the Principal Partner and IHA and LKHRA as Regional Partners.
Membership growth, joint problem solving, and strong local and regional representation are all goals of the collaboration. Furthermore, it hopes to get businesses to back regional trade groups and get involved in bigger national and regional projects through FHRAI.
In our shared effort to create a more robust and united hotel industry, this MoU signifies a turning point. According to Jimmy Shaw, President of HRAWI, “We are not just growing our membership base; we are building a strong platform for shared advocacy, resource pooling and collaborative problem solving” by partnering with the IHA and LKHRA.
Partnering with HRAWI gives our members a greater voice at the regional level and access to a broader platform, according to Sumit Suri, President of the IHA. We can expand our membership and tackle local issues with more efficiency with its aid.
In addition, the partnership will strengthen local businesses, increase engagement with policymakers, and open up new avenues for growth in the Lonavala-Khandala hospitality market, according to Madhav Todi, who is representing LKHRA.
