The Oberoi Group has declared that The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho, has been added to TIME magazine’s list of the World’s Greatest Places of 2026, an annual compendium honouring unique travel experiences and locations across the globe. Situated close to Panna National Park and the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Khajuraho, the palace is a renovated 350-year-old heritage property in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh. In order to preserve the property’s original architectural characteristics, such as mediaeval courtyards, carved stone pillars, and arches connected to the Bundela dynasty, a thorough conservation project including historians, conservation architects, and craftspeople was undertaken.
In addition to worldwide cuisine, the hotel experience includes regional culinary customs from Bundelkhand and central India. Panna National Park, which is well-known for its population of Bengal tigers, leopards, and a variety of birdlife, offers visitors well planned wildlife safaris and environmental experiences. Commenting on the recognition, Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman – The Oberoi Group, said: “Being recognised on TIME’s World’s Greatest Places list is a matter of immense pride for all of us at The Oberoi Group.
