Voco Times Square – Broadway, the largest property in the Americas under the voco brand, has opened. It is owned and operated by IHG Hotels & Resorts. With this new property, the brand’s footprint in the Big Apple grows to seven hotels in the Empire State.

Situated at the crossroads of Seventh Avenue and West 48th Street in Midtown, this 32-story hotel boasts 419 guest rooms. This is one of the last new-build developments authorised in the Times Square region, and it follows other voco openings in the city, such as voco Astoria. Layered textures, soft lighting, and vintage-inspired pieces reflect the speakeasy-style vibe of the hotel’s interior, which draws on ideas from the Prohibition era. The guest rooms are designed with a blend of modern amenities and delicate vintage accents.

One of the most notable features is the rooftop area, which provides breathtaking views of the city skyline and is unique among Times Square establishments. Ideal for hosting parties and other social events, the 2,400 square foot rooftop features both indoor and outdoor space. Guests can enjoy live music, small meals and beverages at The Velvet Fox, a bar and club located on the premises.

We are on track to meet our original objective of having 200 open hotels under the voco brand during the first decade of its inception. Our biggest voco hotel in the Americas joins the debuts of our first resort in Vietnam, an all-inclusive property in Florida, hotels in Poland and Ireland, and an all-inclusive property in Florida all in the last year. Even after all this time, the brand is still meeting the lofty targets we set for it at the beginning, and that’s just the beginning.

There are more than 120 voco hotels operating throughout the world and another 100 under construction as part of IHG’s expansion strategy, which includes the opening.
