This February, Vizag is set to savour the soul of Seoul as the Korean Food Festival arrives at Red Bowl, Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach from 20th February to 1st March 2026. Designed as a limited-time culinary showcase, the festival brings the drama, depth and dynamism of Korean cuisine to the city’s dining scene.
Helming this gastronomic journey is Chef Ronald, a seasoned Korean cuisine specialist with over 20 years of experience. With an instinctive understanding of traditional techniques and flavour balance, he recreates the energy of a bustling Seoul kitchen through dishes that are bold, expressive and deeply comforting.

Sharing his thoughts on the festival, Chef Ronald says, “It is a privilege to bring the true flavours of Korea to Vizag through this festival at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach. Korean cuisine celebrates harmony, between spice and subtlety, heat and comfort, tradition and technique. With every dish, I hope guests experience the depth, warmth and soul that define Korean gastronomy.”
The menu reads like a love letter to Korea’s street food culture and homestyle classics. Expect Dubu-Kimchi with its silky tofu and punchy fermented notes, Tteok Bokki with its fiery glaze and satisfying chew and Jjampong Ramen, a rich, spice-laden noodle bowl layered with robust flavours. Each dish is crafted to deliver authenticity while inviting diners to explore something new.
Commenting on this initiative, Udayprakash Rudrapati, F&B Director – Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach says, “At Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, we curate experiences that go beyond dining. The Korean Food Festival is an invitation to explore a dynamic culinary culture in an immersive setting. We are excited to bring these vibrant global flavours to Vizag’s evolving lifestyle landscape.”
For those who love discovering global cuisines or simply crave something bold and different, this festival promises an unforgettable taste of Korea, right by the Bay of Bengal.
