Celebrating India’s enduring culinary legacy, from 15th January, Café Fleur at The Fern Mumbai, Goregaon – Series by Marriott presents Shaahi Rasoi A Feast from the Royal Kitchens, a thoughtfully curated dining experience inspired by frontier traditions and regal influences.

Rooted from the culinary heritage of the North West Frontier and the Khyber–Peshawar belt, with influences shaped by Central Asian and Middle Eastern cultures, the experience reflects a cuisine that evolved at historic crossroads, defined by bold yet refined flavours and time-honoured techniques.

The menu brings together rustic kebabs, slow-cooked meats, hearty lentil preparations, robust breads, and time-honoured desserts, staying rooted in traditional cooking techniques while appealing to modern tastes. Highlights include the indulgently creamy Murgh Malai Tikka and the iconic Sikandari Raan, paired with flavourful tandoor-roasted vegetables and paneer specialities. The main course remains thoughtfully focused, anchored by the much-loved Dal Bukhara, complemented by select curries, Peshawari naan, soft roomali rotis, and a restrained choice of biryani or pulao. The experience concludes on a sweet note with royal indulgences such as gulab jamun, kulfi falooda, and rich milk-based desserts inspired by frontier kitchens.

Hosted as a 10-day lunch and dinner festival, Shaahi Rasoi unfolds at Café Fleur in a setting inspired by royal frontier kitchens, layered with earthy textures and traditional elements, offering diners a refined yet comforting journey through India’s royal culinary heritage.
