Offering flyers more flexibility and control over their journeys with additional benefits bundled in, pure-play regional airline FLY91 has launched its new fare product, the Smart Ticket. Available across all sales channels starting October 1, the Smart Ticket is designed for flyers who value peace of mind while travelling.

The NIL Cancellation Fee imposes no penalty, providing travellers with relief when they need to change their plans at the last minute. For an additional ₹1,991 over the standard fare, passengers can update their ticket to a Smart Ticket. A Smart Ticket allows unlimited date changes without incurring a change fee, with only the fare difference payable.

Smart Ticket passengers will enjoy an extra five kg baggage allowance, bringing the total check-in entitlement to 20 kg. Passengers will also be entitled to priority boarding, as well as a complimentary snack and beverage during the flight. As a repeat travel incentive, FLY91 will issue a ₹499 voucher within 72 hours of completing a journey, redeemable against a future booking.

Explaining the rationale behind the product, FLY91’s managing director and chief executive officer, Manoj Chacko, said: “Travellers today want predictability and peace of mind as much as they want affordable fares. The Smart Ticket offers travellers flexibility and added value, allowing them to adjust their plans when needed easily.” Chacko also said that the unique product will appeal particularly to business travellers and families, both of whom frequently face last-minute changes to itineraries.

Headquartered in Goa, FLY91 currently operates between eight destinations: Goa, Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Solapur, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Agatti in the Lakshadweep Islands.
