Star Alliance member LOT Polish Airlines has opened its first international location at Chicago OO’HareInternational Airport (ORD). The new 617 sqm business lounge is open daily from 7:00 a.m. until midnight. It is located in Terminal 5, directly after the security checkpoints and close to the boarding gates.

The new lounge in Chicago stands for a mixture of comfort and modern elegance. The minimalist design, for example, picks up on typical Polish elements and uses amber-coloured materials. Its three areas invite up to 167 guests to relax, work, and dine. Fast Wi-Fi for streaming or video conferencing, shower facilities, automatically darkening windows, and a wide range of dining options, including vegetarian, vegan, and halal, all with a great view of the airport apron, are among the many amenities.

“Chicago has been an integral part of our global route network for over 50 years. In 2023 alone, we carried more than 250,000 passengers between Poland and Chicago,” emphasises Amit Ray, Director India, DACH Markets, Italy + Malta and Head of global Corporate and StrategicSales at LOTPolish Airlines. “We are pleased to have opened our first business lounge outside of Poland at this important location for LOT Polish Airlines. Eligible passengers travelling from Chicago via Warsaw to Delhi and Mumbai can now enjoy the new facility on the ground before their LOT Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight.”

The LOT Business Lounge in Chicago is open to all Business Class passengers of the Polish flag carrier and guests with Star Alliance Gold status (and an international flight) of any Star member carrier. Passengers with Miles & More FTL status from Chicago to Warsaw can also visit the lounge, regardless of the ticketed booking class.
